Teddy’s Tongue Piercing: Chaos, Laughter, and a Full-On Cartoon Moment
The Suspicious Silence
Teddy had been unusually quiet in the car, which was suspicious. Anyone who knows Teddy understands that silence usually means news. Big news. Shiny news. Possibly painful news. Yo noticed immediately.
“You’re hiding something,” Yo said, squinting while driving.
Teddy grinned. A slow, dramatic grin. “Maybe.”
The Big Reveal
That’s when Yo caught it a tiny flash of metal when Teddy laughed. “WAIT. Is that what I think it is?”
Teddy nodded proudly. “New tongue piercing.”
The car nearly swerved from excitement alone. “No way. Show me. Properly.”
Full Tongue Show
They pulled over because this moment deserved safety precautions. Teddy rolled down the window, leaned halfway out like a celebrity avoiding paparazzi, and then boom. Tongue out. Eyes crossed. Face fully unhinged.
The piercing sparkled in the daylight, bouncing slightly as Teddy wiggled her tongue like a cartoon character who had just discovered free will. Yo burst out laughing. “You look like you’re auditioning for a role as ‘confused lizard number three.’”
Pedestrian Reactions
Teddy escalated. She stuck her tongue out further, puffed her cheeks, widened her eyes, and added an aggressive head tilt. Passing pedestrians slowed down. One person stared. Another nodded respectfully, as if to say, Yes. This is art.
Personality Upgrade
Inside the car, Yo was crying with laughter. “I asked to see the piercing, not to question reality itself!”
Teddy finally climbed back inside, triumphant. “Worth it,” she declared, still grinning. “And it only hurt a little.”
The rest of the drive was filled with jokes about whistling accidentally, setting off metal detectors, and whether the piercing came with superpowers. Spoiler: it did mainly the power to make any normal moment completely ridiculous.
By the time they drove off, one thing was clear: Teddy’s tongue piercing wasn’t just jewelry. It was a personality upgrade. And the world especially that parking lot was absolutely not ready for it.
